Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you specialise in Mustangs only?

We are the no. 1 Mustang specialist but we work on all American classics.

  • Do you also repair more recent models?

Although we don't sell any recent Mustang models we are always happy to service them, read out the defect codes and repair your new Mustang.

  • Do you have a showroom?

Yes. As our showroom is open by appointment only at the moment.

  • Can I pay by bank card?

Yes. We have a Bancontact terminal and accept most bank cards.

  • How can I book a car on the basis of photographs?

Simply contact us and tell us which car you want to book. We will run through the car's specifications together, discuss any price-inclusive work the car will need, and issue you with an order form. A small deposit to book the car, a second payment once the car has been delivered to us and a third payment once it has passed the roadworthiness test.

  • Isn't it a bit risky to book a car on the basis of photographs?

Absolutely not, because if the car does not match its description, or your expectations, you will get your deposit back. The order form will state so in black and white so that there can't be any misunderstandings later.

  • Why buy on the basis of photographs?

Why not? People buy new cars from a catalogue picture or online all the time. We even pay for our holiday before we get there without knowing what the place will be like. Remember that a lot of water passes under the bridge before the cars are delivered to us. Chances are that if you fell for a particular car, you probably won't be the only one. Don't let chance slip away and miss out on the car of your dreams. Book her now and if she doesn't meet your selection criteria on arrival, we will refund you your deposit.

  • Do I have to bring my car back in after I have bought it?

We would advise you to do so. After 1000 km or 1 month. That way we can make sure your car is in perfect working order and, in the event of a problem, we'll fix it, that's guaranteed! We give your car another check-up, check all the levels and we do all of that together so that you know exactly what to do should you ever need to. You are obviously under no obligation to bring your car in for another check-up but we would recommend that you do. Incidentally, that check-up is completely free of charge.

  • And what if I am living in France?

You don't have to worry about a thing because we take care of everything. We take the car to France for its roadworthiness test and apply for a WW so that you can legally and safely drive your car for 4 months until your vehicle registration certificate arrives. We also apply for a collector's vehicle registration certificate. So the only extra you will have to cover is the cost of the vehicle registration certificate. That may vary from department to department but, in general, you could expect to pay between € 500 & € 700. And we'll put you in contact with our partners to insure your car.

  • Do you buy cars?

Go to our home page and click “Selling my car” to read our terms and conditions and find out how to proceed.

  • Do your cars come with a warranty?

Yes. We offer a 1-year warranty on all our cars (consignment sales excepted). See our terms and conditions of sale.

  • How does the warranty work?

What if I break down somewhere? And what if I live miles away from the garage? Not a problem, we offer you a 1-year warranty on parts and labour, engine, gearbox and drive axle included. As you know, these are the 3 most expensive parts of a car. All other parts and labour are 100 % guaranteed during the first month. As you are buying a 50-year-old second-hand car it only stands to reason that many parts will be old but they will still be functional. We check everything thoroughly, test drive the car and fine-tune every car as if it was our own. Everything will be functioning as it should when we deliver your car. We also operate a recovery service, which is included in the price for the first 12 months, should you happen to have an urgent breakdown. We bring the car back to our garage, repair it and it will be ready for road again. All included in the price! If you live abroad, you won't be able to avail of our recovery service unfortunately but will need to find a carrier to deliver your car to us. After that it is on a case-by-case basis and we can always send you the part if there is a minor issue. That way you won't have to drive all the way to us and we can find you a partner in your region who will be able to replace the part.

  • Do you have any vacancies?

If you wish to join our team, send us your CV and cover letter by email.

  • What are your opening times?

You can visit us on weekdays by appointment only; on Saturdays you don't need to make an appointment.

    Monday – Friday : 09:00 – 18:30

    Saturday : 10:00 – 16:00

  • Can I change/add options?

Yes of course. As we have our own workshop we can change or add anything you like so that you end up with a fully bespoke car. Ask us anything that springs to mind, we are here to answer all your questions.

  • How long will I have to wait before I get my car?

It'll all depend on when you book your car, whether the car must still come in by boat or whether it has been delivered to us already. In normal (i.e., non-covid) times, the crossing takes 5 weeks and then you need to count another week for unloading, customs clearance and delivery to us. Once the vehicle is in our possession, everything will depend on how much work is needed, the options you have chosen, our planning and the order in which the cars were purchased (first come, first served). At the moment, given the numbers of cars sold/booked, to be prepared and delivered already, you could be waiting anything from 1 to 4 months, depending on the work that is required and the additional options you have chosen.

  • Will the car need that much work?

Not at all, it usually takes us 40-120 hours to check, restore and have your car ready. But because many of our clients buy on the basis of photographs, it is the person who bought his car first who will also be served first. We go out of our way to adhere to these deadlines but with a 50-year-old car you have to be prepared for the odd surprise. You're far better off waiting a little longer and have a really good car than to have it quickly and have it break down soon after.

  • Too long to wait, what are my options?

Patience isn't my forte, it seems to take forever, I want my car faster. In that case tell yourself that if the car has been around for 50 years already, it'll be around for another while yet. Good things are worth waiting for. And let's face it, you have been dreaming of your classic for years. So even if you have to wait a few weeks longer than originally planned because the car needs more work done to it than was expected, you will just have to put up with it and wait. Tell yourself that the longer it takes to restore the car to its best possible final condition, the longer you will be able to enjoy a reliable vehicle that meets your expectations. We treat each car as if it was our own.
